Hope Works / No Bounds 2024

Founding Resident: Lo Shea

Lo Shea (Liam O’Shea) is the creative director of Hope Works and CEO of No Bounds Festival.

Working in music for 30 years his career spans across multiple genres, styles and artistic practices. Beginning life as a guitar playing raver in the 90’s he went on to produces own and many other bands and artists before starting the Lo Shea project 12 years ago.

An electronic arm of a varied career in music, Lo Shea has released many records over his career starting with his own vinyl only label Seaghdha and branching out to releases on Rekids, Phonnica, DEXT, 17 Steps, Never Learnt, SZE and more.

As Director of No Bounds Festival Liam has been exploring curatorial practice more deeply in the last few years so his sets are not as regular as they used to be, but that’s just how it should be, in his own words ‘I want to make sure Hope Works and No Bounds are committed to new and emerging talent as well as the mid/late career masters we can all marvel at! I love the vitality and new angles the next generation always bring, it’s so exciting for me to be part of the whole process.'
